Everything it does
Features
One page, grouped the way the product is. Anything not listed here, we do not do yet. That list is at the bottom.
Your site
Not a listing page with your logo on it. A whole website, on your own address, edited from your dashboard.
Six templates, eleven typefaces
Your colours, fonts and photography. Reorder sections; the live preview keeps up.
Media library and video
Upload once, reuse anywhere. Video backgrounds and a splash while the landing page loads.
About and contact pages
Real pages, not a footer line.
Ten ticket designs
Stub, pass, thermal, wristband, poster and more. Choose which fields print.
Your own domain
A free yourname.livepass.nz, or point a domain you own at it. The DNS records are shown on screen.
Share previews
Every event previews properly when someone posts the link.
Friday night residency
Selling
Types, tiers and timing, so a show goes on sale the way you actually run it.
Types and tiers
A type is what someone buys — General Admission, VIP, Under 16. A tier is what that type costs right now — Early Bird, then Regular. The next tier opens when the one above sells out.
Caps
Each type has its own count. Turn on an event cap when the room has one limit you would rather not divide between them.
Scheduled on-sale
Set the time and buyers get a countdown. Hide the event until then, or announce it the moment it opens.
Waitlist
Collect the people who missed out, then email exactly them when you release more.
Presale lottery
For the shows you know will go. Entries in, winners drawn, codes out.
Comps
Sit outside capacity, so a sold-out show can still put someone on the door list. Emailed a ticket straight away.
Who gets in
Who can see the event, who can buy a ticket, and what they have to agree to before they do.
Private events
On a link only you share.
Member lists
A user list is a set of email addresses. Gate an event with one and only those people can buy, up to a limit you set — counted across every order from that address, not per order.
Site access code
A single code across the whole site while you are still setting up.
Age gate
18+ by default. Opt one event out when it should be all-ages.
Terms you wrote
Publish ours, write your own, or upload a document. Add tick-box agreements for a liquor licence or a drug-free policy. New wording applies to new sales only — past purchases keep the words they agreed to.
No marketplace
There is no LivePass discovery feed. Your buyers are on your site, not ours.
The ticket itself
What the buyer walks in with, and what happens when they bring people.
Named tickets
One purchase, several people. Put your friends’ names on their tickets before the show so the door knows who is who.
Handing one on
Send a ticket to a different email and it prints their name. Ownership and the payment stay with whoever bought it, so a refund still goes to the right person.
On a phone
A QR or barcode ticket that works on a screen at the door. Screenshot it or show the email — both scan.
Lifecycle email
Reminders, change alerts, thank-yous and a post-show summary, all in your branding.
At the door
The part that has to work at 10pm with a queue behind you and no signal.
Camera check-in
Scan from a phone. No hardware to hire.
Offline roster
The list downloads before doors and keeps recording when the connection drops. Those check-ins live on that device until you sync, so do not close the tab first.
Duplicate verdicts
A second scan says so, and names the device that scanned it first.
One door count
Checked in and admissible across every scanner, not just the phone in your hand.
Door staff see the door
Give someone one event and nothing else.
Comps on the list
Anyone comped is already on the door list.
Admitted
General Admission · 1 of 1
Already checked in
Scanned at 20:09 on another device.
Queued offline
Recording on this device. Will sync when you are back on.
Running it with people
Roles that match how a venue actually divides work. Everyone sees their part and nothing else.
Promo codes
Percent, dollar or fixed price. Gate them on holding a ticket to another show. Mint 500 at once.
Campaigns
Email ticket holders, the waitlist, or everyone, with the recipient count shown before you send.
Activity log
Every refund, comp and edit, with who did it — kept even after the thing it describes is gone.
Integrations
Pick a service and set it up from your dashboard. No code, and live within a minute of saving.
Sales alerts
Post every 10% sales milestone, and the moment you sell out, to a Discord channel.
Attribution
Meta, TikTok and Google Analytics pixels, so ticket sales report back to the ads that made them.
Money
The full detail is on the pricing page. In short: a service fee per paid ticket, nothing on free tickets, nothing up front, no plan.
Refunds
Refund one purchase and the ticket price goes back. Cancel a show and every purchase is refunded in full, service fee included, with the processing cost charged to you.
Budgets
Every event has a budget sheet with break-even and margin. Turn GST on if you file it and revenue, costs and profit are shown net of it.
Payouts
LivePass holds the money and pays out after the event. Connect Stripe and you are paid the moment a ticket sells.
What we do not do
Other platforms list these. We would rather say so than let you find out after you have moved your ticketing.
