Is LivePass working?
When we measure it, this page will say so. Until then it says what is wired, what is not, and what to do tonight if something is wrong.
What this page reports
Nothing below is a live reading yet. These are the components worth reporting on, listed so the page has somewhere to put the answer once measurement is wired. Until then each one says so, rather than showing a green tick nobody checked.
The door does not wait for this page
The check-in roster downloads before doors. Once it is on the phone, scanning keeps recording without a connection and syncs when one returns. That is the commitment the product actually makes, and it is narrower and more useful than a percentage.
Download before doors
Open the check-in link while you still have a connection. The roster comes with it.
Scanning keeps recording
A dropped connection does not stop the door. Scans queue on the device and sync when a connection returns.
One admitted count
Every scanner reports into the same count, and a duplicate scan says which device saw the ticket first.
If something is wrong right now
Start with whichever of these you are.
Working the door
You do not need the dashboard. The check-in link your organiser sent opens the scanner directly, on the phone you already have.
Locked out of your site
Your site admin can restore access faster than we can. If you are the site admin, write to help@livepass.nz.
Anything else
Write to help@livepass.nz with your site address, which event, what you saw and roughly when. If it happened at the door, say which device.
Why there is no percentage here
We do not publish an uptime figure, and we are not going to assert one we have not measured. The terms say the same thing. When measurement is wired, this page carries it rather than a number chosen to look good.
Any service-level commitment is to be confirmed.
Run your own door
No card needed to set up. You only pay when you sell.
